Description
Original BMW iDrive Controller CIC multimedia knob for BMW models equipped with the CIC infotainment system, OEM number 6963051. This center-console controller is the rotary command unit used to operate multimedia, navigation, telephone and vehicle menu functions through the iDrive interface.
Designed as the main hand-operated input for the BMW infotainment setup, it lets the driver scroll, select and access on-screen functions quickly and precisely. The controller works as the physical link between the user and the CIC system, making everyday control of media and navigation feel direct and intuitive.
Common signs of a faulty unit include erratic menu movement, a knob that does not respond consistently, failed push or directional inputs, sticking action, or loss of access to key iDrive functions. Worn internal contacts, contamination or physical wear can all affect normal operation over time.
This is a used original part, removed from a vehicle and tested before sale. Match the exact OEM number 6963051 before ordering. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper fit and operation, and coding, programming or adaptation may be required where relevant to the vehicle’s infotainment configuration.
