The CCM handles central locking for all four doors and the boot lid, one-touch electric window travel, the remote key comfort-close function, and interior and courtesy lighting sequences throughout the cabin. It interfaces with body electronics via the vehicle bus network.
Common CCM failure symptoms include all doors failing to lock or unlock by remote, electric windows losing their one-touch travel function, interior and courtesy lights becoming erratic or non-functional, and the remote comfort-close ceasing to operate.
