This headlight and fog light control switch for the A3 8L provides the driver-operated rotary control for the headlights and sidelights together with the fog light activation at the dashboard, interfacing with the A3 8L exterior lighting circuits for reliable management of all exterior lighting functions across all switch positions.
A worn or defective switch on the A3 8L can cause the headlights, sidelights or fog lights to fail to respond to switch rotation, produce intermittent exterior lighting faults, or generate fault codes in the body control or lighting modules of the A3 8L.
