The cruise control stalk (speed control switch) mounts to the steering column and provides the driver’s interface for activating and controlling the cruise control or variable speed limiter. It sends SET, RESUME, COAST, ACCELERATE and CANCEL commands to the cruise control ECU or engine management system, enabling hands-free speed maintenance on motorways and programmed speed limiting in urban zones.
Cruise control refusing to engage, set speed not being held, inability to resume after braking, stalk adjustments having no effect on cruise speed, fault codes for the cruise control switch or speed limiter circuit in the engine or body ECU.
This part is supplied in good used condition with no cracks, broken pins or connector damage. Always verify the OEM part number against your vehicle’s existing unit before ordering.
