This MC2000DC compensator module is fitted in the telephone antenna path of the W203 and CL203, amplifying the cellular signal and offsetting cable losses to provide consistent in-car mobile reception for the built-in telephone system or hands-free module.
A defective unit causes poor mobile network signal inside the vehicle, degraded hands-free call quality, call drop-outs, or a complete loss of in-car telephone connectivity, while the mobile handset itself continues to function normally outside the vehicle.
