Fitted behind the rear bumper of the W220 and W215, this Keyless Go antenna detects the presence of the authorised key when the driver approaches the rear of the vehicle, enabling the Keyless Go system to unlock the boot lid or doors without any button press.
A faulty rear bumper antenna reduces the detection zone at the rear of the vehicle, causing the Keyless Go system to require closer key proximity, or may produce a fault code in the comfort or Keyless Go control module.
