It processes input from the crankshaft position sensor, lambda probe, throttle potentiometer, and air temperature sensor to deliver precise fuel and spark management, enabling efficient combustion, clean idle, and responsive acceleration across the operating range.
Failure of a Magneti Marelli IAW 6F.SB unit may result in a no-start condition, rough unstable idle, or flat spots under acceleration. The engine may also exhibit poor cold-start behaviour or generate persistent fault codes relating to injection timing or lambda sensor circuits even after those sensors have been confirmed as serviceable.
