Beschreibung
This BMW door mirror control module is a genuine OEM electronic component for BMW E38 7 Series and E39 5 Series vehicles. Primary OEM number 8376074, marked PM-BFT. It is designed to control the exterior mirror adjustment and folding functions together with the power window and the lock actuator of the door, and to report the door status to the vehicle body electronics.
Its job is to process the mirror and window switch commands, to move the mirror glass and the mirror housing to the requested position and to operate the window motor and the lock in a controlled way. A properly working mirror control module supports precise mirror adjustment, reliable folding, smooth window movement and correct operation of the door comfort system.
Common signs of a faulty unit include a mirror that does not adjust or fold, a mirror that moves by itself or only in one direction, a window that is slow or dead, a lock that does not follow the central locking, switches that stop responding, or intermittent door faults. When the module fails, the mirror and door functions may stop together, and fault codes may be stored in the body control memory.
This is a used original part, removed from a vehicle and tested before sale. Match the exact OEM number 8376074 before ordering, and check that the connector type, the version marking and the door side match your original unit. Professional installation is recommended, and a diagnostic scan and a check of mirror and window operation should be performed after fitting where applicable.
