This fuel filler cap seals the fuel tank inlet on the W140, W124, W210 and R129, closing the filler neck securely to prevent fuel vapour escape, contamination ingress and evaporative emission faults that may be recorded by the engine management system during normal operation.
A deteriorated or missing cap on these models can cause a fuel smell around the filler area, trigger evaporative emission fault codes and illuminate a warning lamp on the instrument cluster until the cap is replaced.
Supplied in good used condition, confirmed against OEM number 1404700005 before dispatch. Fits Mercedes-Benz W140, W124, W210 and R129. 14-day return policy applies.
