Originale BMW AUC air quality sensor for BMW applications, supplied under primary OEM number 6924755 and alternate number 6917001. This is the automatic air recirculation sensor used with the climate control system to monitor outside air quality and support proper cabin air management.
Its job is to detect polluted intake air and signal the HVAC system to switch the recirculation function when needed. By helping the climate control react to traffic fumes and contaminated outside air, this sensor supports cleaner cabin airflow and more consistent automatic ventilation operation.
Common signs of a faulty unit include recirculation mode not responding correctly, poor automatic switching between fresh and recirculated air, persistent outside odors entering the cabin, or climate control fault messages related to the AUC system.
