90501588 5WK90761 Opel Astra Vectra Fuel Injector – OEM Used & Tested

Descrizione

This Opel petrol fuel injector is a genuine OEM electromagnetic fuel metering component for petrol engines fitted to the Opel Astra and Vectra. Primary OEM number 90501588, with the secondary reference code 5WK90761 also listed for this unit. It is designed to open and close on command from the engine control unit, delivering a precise, finely atomized spray of fuel into the intake port so that fuel and air mix evenly before combustion takes place in the cylinder.

Its job is to supply the exact quantity of fuel the engine needs at every load and speed, with a consistent spray pattern and a quick, repeatable opening and closing response on every cycle. A properly working injector supports smooth idle, responsive throttle, stable fuel trims, good fuel economy and correct operation of the fuel system and emissions control as a whole.

Common signs of a faulty unit include misfires on one cylinder, rough or shaky idle, long cranking, stumbling when pulling away, higher fuel consumption, a fuel smell and lean or rich mixture codes. When an injector leaks, clogs or sticks, the engine may run unevenly, lose power, wash oil from the cylinder wall or damage the catalytic converter and shorten engine life over time.

This is a used original part, removed from a vehicle and tested before sale. Match the exact OEM number 90501588 before ordering. Professional installation is recommended, and a fuel pressure check, new seals and O-rings, injector balance test, inspection of the fuel rail and scan tool diagnosis are advised where applicable.
