9177975 BMW E46 X3 Mini Outside Power Fold Mirror Module – OEM Used & Tested

Descrizione

This BMW outside power fold mirror module is a genuine OEM comfort electronics component for the BMW E46 and X3 and for the Mini. Primary OEM number 9177975. It is designed to control the electric folding of the exterior mirrors, driving the fold motors in the mirror housings when it receives the fold, unfold or locking command from the vehicle. It works together with the central locking and the mirror switch of the same car.

Its job is to power the mirror fold motors in the correct direction, stop them at the end positions and keep both mirrors synchronized with the central locking or the fold switch. A properly working power fold mirror module supports easy parking in tight spaces, protection of the mirrors in narrow streets and correct operation of the power mirror system on both sides of the car.

Common signs of a faulty unit include mirrors that do not fold or unfold, folding on only one side, slow or half-finished movement, mirrors that fold by themselves and a power fold function that works only from time to time. When the module fails, the mirrors may stay in one position permanently, which is inconvenient in daily use and can limit visibility or parking convenience. Replacing a failed module restores normal folding and keeps the mirrors protected when parked.

This is a used original part, removed from a vehicle and tested before sale. Match the exact OEM number 9177975 before ordering. Professional installation is recommended, and a mirror reset or adaptation of the fold function is advised where applicable. Test both mirrors after fitting to confirm that they fold and unfold smoothly.
