Opis
This BMW door window and mirror module is a genuine OEM electronic component for BMW E38 7 Series and E39 5 Series vehicles. Primary OEM number 8378767, marked PM-BT. It is designed to run the power window motor, the mirror adjustment motors and the lock actuator of the door in response to the door switch inputs and the central locking commands.
Its job is to convert the switch commands into controlled movement of the window and the mirror, to operate the lock actuator and to keep the vehicle electronics informed about the door status. A properly working window and mirror module supports steady glass travel, precise mirror adjustment and secure locking, which keeps the convenience features of the door working properly over the years.
Common signs of a faulty unit include a window that stops, reverses or does not move, a mirror that does not respond or cannot be folded, a door lock that fails to follow the central locking, switches that work only now and then, or several door functions failing together. When the module fails, the comfort electronics of the door may stop, and the body electronics may store related fault codes in memory.
This is a used original part, removed from a vehicle and tested before sale. Match the exact OEM number 8378767 before ordering, and check that the connector type and the door side match your original unit. Professional installation is recommended, and a diagnostic scan and a check of window and mirror operation should be performed after fitting where applicable.
