This Delphi common rail fuel pressure sensor, OEM number 9307Z521A and alternate reference 55PP22-01, is an original engine fuel system component. It is designed for common rail diesel applications and serves as a direct replacement only where these exact numbers are specified.
Its job is to monitor fuel pressure inside the rail and send an accurate signal to the engine management system. That input helps the ECU control injection timing and fuel delivery correctly, supporting smooth starting, stable running, proper throttle response and efficient combustion.
