This left mirror adjustment motor drives the positioning mechanism of the left exterior wing mirror on the W203, CL203, C209, A209, W210 and S210, moving the mirror glass horizontally and vertically in response to left mirror switch commands to position the glass at the driver’s preferred angle.
Failure of this motor causes the left wing mirror to stop responding to electrical adjustment inputs, leaving the left mirror glass fixed in its current position and preventing the driver from electrically repositioning the left mirror until the motor is replaced.
