Overview
GiantParts Ltd. provides OEM second-hand automotive components for European vehicles. Due to the nature of used electronic and mechanical automotive parts, our return policy is narrowly defined to cover only legitimate faults and misdescribed items. This policy outlines return eligibility, non-returnable categories, liability limitations, and buyer responsibilities.
Return Eligibility
Returns are accepted only under the following conditions:
- DOA (Dead on Arrival) — the item does not function upon initial testing/installation.
- Not As Described — the item significantly differs from the listing description.
No returns or refunds will be accepted for any other reason.
Important Conditions
- Items must be returned in the same condition as received.
- Items must not be tampered with, opened, disassembled, flashed, or modified.
- Returns must be requested within 7 calendar days of delivery.
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the nature of second-hand automotive parts, the following categories are non-returnable unless DOA or Not-As-Described:
- ECUs, ECMs, TCMs, BCMs, ABS modules, airbag modules
- Sensors, actuators, relays, comfort modules, audio/navigation units
- Immobilizer units, ELV/steering locks, key sets, ignition components
- Used wiring looms and harness assemblies
- Mechanical assemblies (engines, transmissions, differentials, pumps, turbochargers, alternators, starters, etc.)
- Chassis/suspension components (arms, hubs, knuckles, shafts, shocks, springs, bushings, etc.)
- Interior/exterior components (panels, trims, seats, dashboards, lights, switches, mirrors, etc.)
Cosmetic wear consistent with normal use does not qualify as DOA or Not-As-Described unless it was not disclosed and materially affects functionality.
Installation & Responsibility Disclaimer
GiantParts Ltd. is not responsible for failures resulting from:
- Incorrect or unskilled installation
- Damage during installation or testing
- Incorrect troubleshooting or diagnosis
- Improper handling, programming, or coding
- Software/firmware incompatibility
- Use outside intended automotive application
- Attempted repairs or disassembly
It is strongly recommended that installation be performed by qualified automotive technicians.
Compatibility Responsibility
Compatibility verification is the buyer’s responsibility.
OEM part numbers, software/firmware versions, and vehicle specifications must be matched by the buyer before purchase. Compatibility issues caused by buyer error are non-returnable.
Warranty Disclaimer
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, no warranty is provided for used automotive parts due to their mechanical/electronic nature and unknown installation environments. For safety-critical components (e.g., airbag modules), compliance with local regulations and safe installation is the buyer’s responsibility.
Shipping Costs
- Buyer pays return shipping for all return requests.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless GiantParts Ltd. made an error.
How to Request a Return (If Eligible)
If you believe your item qualifies for return under DOA/Not-As-Described, please contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery with:
- Order number
- Part number and description
- Proof of issue (photos or video)
Requests are reviewed within standard business hours. Unauthorized returns will not be processed.
Refund Method
If a return is approved and the part is received in the same condition as dispatched, a refund will be issued to the original payment method. Refund processing times vary based on payment provider.
