This Becker BE6324 display unit serves as the primary MMI monitor in the A8 and S8 D3, presenting navigation maps, menu selections, media information and vehicle system data driven by the MMI controller, and forming the visual interface between the driver and the infotainment and vehicle management systems.
Failure of the display causes the MMI visual interface to go blank or display image artefacts, leaving the driver without navigation guidance, MMI menu access, or visual feedback for connected vehicle systems while the MMI controller and audio functions may remain operational.
