Beschreibung
This BMW door mirror control module is a genuine OEM electronic component for BMW E38 7 Series and E39 5 Series vehicles. Primary OEM number 8376072, marked PM-BFT. It is designed to handle the mirror adjustment and folding functions, the power window and the lock actuator of the door, using the commands from the door switches and the body electronics.
Its job is to turn the mirror and window switch commands into controlled motion of the mirror glass, the mirror housing, the window and the lock, and to monitor the motors while they run. A properly working mirror control module supports accurate mirror positioning, dependable window travel and a door comfort system that behaves the way the factory intended.
Common signs of a faulty unit include a mirror that stays still, jitters or does not fold, a window that sticks, drops or does not respond, a door lock that ignores the central locking, switches that stop working, or door faults that appear and disappear. When the module fails, several functions of the door may fail together at once, and the body electronics may store related fault codes in memory.
This is a used original part, removed from a vehicle and tested before sale. Match the exact OEM number 8376072 before ordering, and check that the connector type, the version marking and the door side match your original unit. Professional installation is recommended, and a diagnostic scan and a check of mirror and window operation should be performed after fitting where applicable.
