16163429 QU Opel CORSA B Engine Ecu Control Module – OEM Used & Tested

Description

Completing the Corsa B’s roster of OEM Delphi engine management options, this ECU — referenced 16163429 (suffix QU) — was engineered to manage the Opel Corsa B petrol engine during the supermini’s 1993–2000 production run. As with the broader Delphi 16xxxxxx family that served Opel’s petrol management requirements of this era, it carries factory-specific calibration maps that reflect the precise fuelling and ignition needs of the engine variant it controls. ¶ The 16163429 QU unit administers fuel injection timing and quantity, spark advance curves, idle stabilisation and closed-loop lambda regulation for the Corsa B petrol engine. By continuously processing signals from the throttle position sensor, intake manifold, coolant temperature and exhaust oxygen sensor, the module maintains the stoichiometric balance and combustion timing that the Corsa B’s petrol engine was designed to operate within throughout its service life. ¶ Recovered from a professionally dismantled Corsa B and verified through bench testing before listing, this ECU is supplied in clean, functional condition. It offers Corsa B owners and independent technicians a tested, OEM-specification replacement for a vehicle that increasingly relies on the quality used parts market for ongoing maintenance and repair. ¶ Verify the full OEM reference 16163429 QU matches the code on the ECU currently fitted to your Corsa B prior to ordering. Post-installation coding via Tech2 or a compatible Opel diagnostic tool is required to link the module to the vehicle’s immobiliser and ensure all engine management adaptations are correctly initialised.
