This module governs the pneumatic air suspension of the A8 and S8 D3, controlling the air compressor, solenoid valves, and ride-height sensors to maintain the correct vehicle level, adjust damping in response to driving conditions, and manage the sport or comfort suspension modes selected by the driver.
Failure of this module causes the air suspension to sit at incorrect ride height, prevents height adjustment between modes, generates suspension fault warnings in the instrument cluster or MMI, or causes the system to default to a fixed emergency height.
