This centre console panel for the E83 X3 provides the DTC dynamic traction control switch, allowing the driver to reduce traction intervention when driving off-road or in conditions where limited wheelspin is desirable, communicating the driver input to the DSC and engine management modules.
Failure of this switch panel causes the DTC control to become unresponsive from the centre console, leaving the driver unable to adjust traction intervention manually while the traction and stability control system continues to operate in its default active state.
