Description
Genuine BMW Body Comfort Control Module for the 7 Series E38 and 5 Series E39, OEM part number 6901228, Siemens/Hella code 5DK007047-17. This used unit comes from a running vehicle and has been tested before listing.
Serving both the E38 and E39 platforms, the module handles centralised door and boot locking, auto-up/auto-down window control, and the comfort-close function that closes all windows via a sustained press of the remote key lock button. Interior and courtesy lighting is sequenced through this module on door events, as is boot lamp operation. Heated seat scheduling and folding mirror control feature on appropriately equipped models.
Watch for these failure signs: central locking going silent to both remote and switch commands, windows losing one-touch travel and requiring the switch to be held continuously, interior lights not activating on door opening, comfort-close feature inoperative, and the boot lid failing to lock or unlock with the doors.
Verify compatibility using OEM 6901228 / 5DK007047-17 before placing your order. BMW ISTA coding is required post-fit. A 14-day return policy is in place.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
