Description
BMW OEM HVAC air distribution flap actuator, reference 6917942, sourced from a BMW donor vehicle and function-checked before listing. This genuine used part is prepared for direct OEM replacement.
The actuator controls the position of the air distribution damper, switching the climate system between different delivery channels — panel vents, floor ducts, and the windscreen defroster — as commanded by the climate control unit.
When this actuator degrades, drivers may notice the heater or air conditioner unable to change which vents are active, repetitive clicking from inside the dashboard, and climate control self-diagnosis flagging a flap positioning fault.
Supplied in good used condition. Match OEM part reference 6917942 before purchase to confirm compatibility. Fitting by a qualified technician is advised, and coding may be required after installation. Returns accepted within 14 days.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
