Description
OEM number 6946947 — a genuine used, tested BMW X5 E53 (1999–2006) Comfort Control Module (CCM) taken from a factory-equipped vehicle and verified functional before listing.
The CCM manages central locking for all doors and the tailgate, single-press electric window operation for all four windows, the remote key comfort-close feature, and interior and courtesy lighting sequences throughout the cabin. Communication is handled over the body bus network.
A failing E53 CCM commonly causes doors and the tailgate to stop responding to the remote key, electric windows to lose one-touch operation, interior and courtesy lights to become erratic or fail, and the comfort-close system to stop functioning.
Verify the OEM number matches your existing unit before ordering. Professional installation is recommended. ISTA coding is required after fitting to register the module to your X5. 14-day returns accepted on unmodified parts.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
