Description
This is a genuine Pierburg air mass sensor for Mercedes C, E, CLK and ML CDI models. The primary OEM number is 7.22684.07. Built as an original intake measurement component, it is designed to monitor the air entering the engine so the control system can meter fuel correctly for smooth diesel operation.
Its job is to measure incoming air mass in real time and send that data to the engine management system. Accurate readings help maintain correct fuel delivery, stable idle quality, proper turbo response and controlled emissions, especially on CDI engines where airflow calculation is critical to performance and drivability.
