Description
OEM reference 8372142, supplier code 6010726002 — this genuine BMW 5 Series E39 Body Comfort Control Module has been sourced from a donor vehicle, tested, and is offered as a proven used OEM unit ready for installation.
This module coordinates the central locking circuit for all passenger doors and the boot, enables one-touch electric window actuation including the remote key comfort-close function, governs interior and courtesy lighting behaviour on door open and close events, and switches the boot interior light. On E39 models fitted with heated seats and electric folding mirrors, those comfort features are also controlled through this unit.
Symptoms that suggest BCM failure include doors failing to lock or unlock via the remote or cabin switch, power windows losing their auto-travel function, interior lights not illuminating when a door is opened, the comfort-close window feature not working, and the boot lid dropping out of the locking cycle.
Cross-check OEM 8372142 and code 6010726002 against your vehicle before ordering. BMW ISTA coding is required post-installation. Professional fitting is recommended, and a 14-day return policy applies.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
