OEM number 8372875 — a genuine used, tested BMW 5 Series E39 (1995–2003) / 7 Series E38 (1994–2001) Light Control Module (LCM) removed from a factory-equipped vehicle and bench-tested before listing.
The LCM manages dipped and main beam headlights, front fog lights, parking lights, interior lighting dimming, and instrument cluster illumination. On xenon-equipped vehicles it also controls automatic headlight levelling. Communication runs via the K-CAN bus.
Common LCM faults include headlights that fail to switch on or off correctly, main beam that will not activate, interior lights that malfunction, and xenon headlight levelling faults on cars equipped with bi-xenon headlights.
