Description
Carrying OEM part number 83855409, this genuine used BMW E46 3 Series (1997–2006) Comfort Control Module (CCM) has been professionally extracted from a running vehicle and tested to ensure full operational status before despatch.
As the E46’s dedicated comfort electronics controller, the CCM manages central locking across all four doors and the boot, provides latching one-touch operation for the electric windows, enables comfort-close and comfort-open via the remote key’s infrared signal, controls interior and courtesy lighting sequences, manages boot illumination, and handles the onboard IR key receiver. Electric folding mirrors, where fitted, are also within its control domain.
Signs of a failing CCM include remote central locking that stops responding, electric windows that lose their one-touch latching function, interior lights that switch on or off erratically, the comfort-close feature failing to activate, and the infrared remote key becoming unreliable or non-functional.
Confirm compatibility with OEM number 83855409 before ordering. Professional installation is required. ISTA/P or ISTA/D coding must be carried out after fitting to pair the CCM to the vehicle. 14-day returns on unmodified, uninstalled parts.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
