Description
OEM number 83855439 — a genuine used, tested BMW E46 3 Series (1997–2006) Comfort Control Module (CCM) taken from a factory-fitted vehicle and confirmed operational before listing.
The module governs central locking for all doors and the boot lid, one-touch operation of the electric windows, the remote key comfort-close function, and interior and courtesy lighting control. All functions communicate via the body bus network.
Symptoms of a failing CCM include doors that stop responding to the remote, windows that only operate while the switch is held, interior and courtesy lights that become erratic or fail, and a comfort-close system that no longer works.
Verify the OEM number against your original part before placing an order. Professional fitting is recommended. ISTA/P or ISTA/D coding is required after installation to marry the module to your E46. 14-day returns accepted on unmodified parts.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
