Description
OEM part number 9204525-01. This genuine used, tested BMW PL2 FRM II Footwell Module fits the E81 1 Series 3-door, E87 1 Series 5-door, and E90 3 Series saloon. The FRM II is a platform generation 2 module mounted in the vehicle footwell. Units are sourced from running donor vehicles and individually tested before despatch.
The FRM II controls all exterior lighting functions including low and high beam headlights, front and rear fog lights, direction indicators, daytime running lights, and tail and brake lights. It additionally manages interior footwell and courtesy lighting, the rain sensor interface, and exterior mirror functions.
Common failure signs include headlights that fail to switch on or off, indicators not operating correctly, daytime running lights ceasing to function, interior lighting faults, and general exterior lighting malfunctions across the vehicle.
Confirm the OEM number matches your vehicle before ordering. Professional installation is strongly recommended. VIN-specific BMW ISTA programming is mandatory after fitting — the module cannot operate correctly without coding to the recipient vehicle. A 14-day return window applies to all our used OEM parts.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
