This LPG ECU manages the core functions of the vehicle’s alternative fuel system. It governs gas injector timing and duration for sequential LPG delivery, controls the automatic switchover between petrol and gas running modes, monitors gas rail pressure from the tank assembly, and communicates with the vehicle’s original petrol ECU to coordinate accurate fuelling on both fuels.
A faulty LPG ECU can prevent the system from switching to gas mode, leaving the vehicle permanently on petrol. Other symptoms include irregular gas consumption, gas system fault codes, unstable running on LPG, the gas mode indicator failing to activate, or unexpected cut-outs while running on gas.
Supplied tested and in serviceable condition, cross-referencing the OEM approval numbers listed. This unit controls the gas conversion system.
