The Tamona LPG ECU controls the vehicle’s alternative fuel injection system. It governs gas injector timing and pulse duration for sequential LPG delivery, manages automatic switching between petrol and gas operating modes, monitors gas rail and tank pressure via dedicated sensors, and interfaces with the vehicle’s original engine ECU to synchronise fuelling on both petrol and gas.
Symptoms of a failing Tamona LPG ECU include the system not switching to gas mode, the vehicle running only on petrol, abnormally high gas consumption, gas system fault codes, rough or hesitant running on LPG, or the gas mode indicator not illuminating when gas mode is selected or active.
Supplied in clean, tested condition, carrying the original Tamona OEM reference number. This unit controls the LPG gas conversion system. Installation by a qualified LPG technician is strongly recommended. Calibration or coding to match the vehicle’s existing gas configuration may be required after fitting. 14-day returns on unused, uninstalled units.
