Fitted in the right exterior wing mirror of the A8 and S8 D4, this Hella LED indicator activates in sequence with the right indicator circuit to project a lateral turn signal from the mirror body, extending directional signalling coverage to the right side of the vehicle.
A failed unit causes the right mirror signal to remain unlit during right indicator operation, potentially triggering a bulb failure warning on the instrument cluster and leaving the lateral signal position at the right mirror without illumination.
