OEM part numbers 0195453132 and FD99M03. This is a genuine used, tested Mercedes-Benz W202 C-Class ABS/ASR ECU control module, removed from a donor vehicle and tested before dispatch.
The ABS/ASR control unit processes continuous inputs from all four wheel speed sensors and modulates brake hydraulic pressure via the ABS hydraulic unit to prevent individual wheels from locking during heavy braking. The ASR (Acceleration Skid Control) function monitors rear wheel speed to detect driven-wheel spin and, when spin is detected, simultaneously reduces engine torque via the engine ECU and applies selective wheel braking to restore traction. The module communicates with the engine ECU and instrument cluster over the vehicle data bus.
ABS or ASR warning lamps illuminated on the instrument cluster, loss of anti-lock braking function, traction control permanently inactive, stored fault codes readable via Mercedes Star Diagnosis or compatible scan tool, or erratic braking behaviour during acceleration or hard stops.
