Description
This is a genuine used 1138219 BMW E36 ABS ASC ECU Control Module 5WK8402, part number 1138219, removed from a running vehicle and tested before listing. It is offered as a direct original (OEM) replacement, not an aftermarket copy.
Symptoms of a failing ABS/ASC control module (1138219)
It controls the ABS anti-lock braking and ASC traction system. When it fails, the ABS and ASC warning lights come on, the anti-lock braking or traction control stops working, or wheel-speed fault codes are stored. Fitting a matching original unit restores correct operation without changing the wiring.
Fitment and OEM number 1138219
This part is identified by OEM number 1138219, with 5WK8402 as the Siemens reference. Several similar modules are used across the E36 range and are not all interchangeable, so compare the number on your existing unit with 1138219 before ordering. It was removed from a vehicle and bench-tested; light cosmetic wear is possible on any used component. Fitting should be done by a qualified technician, and coding may be needed after installation.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
