This Loewe module is placed in the antenna feed line of the BMW E39, suppressing electrical interference and RF noise from the vehicle before the signal reaches the head unit, while the integrated 433.92 MHz receiver processes remote key-fob signals for the central locking system.
Symptoms of failure include increased static or electrical interference on the AM and FM radio bands, and reduced key-fob range or a complete failure of the remote central locking to respond to the key.
