Description
Identified by OEM number 6914362, this genuine used BMW E46 3 Series (1997–2006) Comfort Control Module (CCM) was carefully extracted from a running donor vehicle and tested for correct operation prior to listing.
Serving as the E46’s convenience electronics hub, the CCM integrates control of central locking for all doors and the boot, one-touch electric window operation, infrared remote key comfort-close and comfort-open, interior and courtesy lighting, boot lamp control, and remote receiver functions. On cars fitted with electric folding mirrors, the CCM controls those too.
A malfunctioning CCM on the E46 typically causes central locking that no longer responds to the remote key, electric windows that lose one-touch operation and require the switch to be held throughout, interior lights that behave unpredictably, comfort-close that fails to activate, and an IR remote that becomes intermittent or completely unresponsive.
Confirm compatibility by checking OEM number 6914362 before purchase. Professional installation is recommended. ISTA/P or ISTA/D coding is mandatory to pair the new module to the vehicle after fitting. 14-day returns on unmodified, uninstalled units.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
