Description
BMW OEM HVAC flap actuator for air distribution, OEM reference 6942987, recovered from a BMW donor and function-tested prior to listing. This genuine used OEM unit is ready for direct installation.
Acting within the heater and ventilation box, this actuator controls the distribution flap position to route heated or cooled air to the selected outlet zone — face-level vents, footwell ducts, or the windscreen demisting channel — as directed by the climate system.
When this actuator begins to fail, drivers typically notice airflow remaining on one setting regardless of input, a repetitive clicking sound behind the dashboard, and HVAC control module faults logged in the vehicle scan data.
Part is in good used condition. Confirm OEM number 6942987 applies to your vehicle before ordering. Professional installation is recommended, and coding of the replacement may be required. 14-day returns accepted.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
