Description
OEM number 8385541 — a genuine used, tested BMW E46 3 Series (1997–2006) Comfort Control Module (CCM) removed from a factory-fitted vehicle and checked for correct operation before listing.
The CCM is responsible for central locking across all four doors and the boot lid, one-touch electric window travel, the remote key comfort-close feature, and interior and courtesy lighting sequences. Control signals are distributed via the body bus network.
When the CCM fails, common symptoms include doors that no longer lock or unlock via the remote key, electric windows that only travel while the switch is held, erratic interior and courtesy lighting, and a remote comfort-close that no longer activates.
Confirm the OEM number matches your existing unit before purchasing. Professional fitting is recommended. ISTA/P or ISTA/D coding is required following installation to register the module to your vehicle. 14-day returns on unmodified parts.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
