Description
BMW E38 OEM air distribution flap actuator, part number 8391380, taken from a genuine BMW E38 and function-tested to confirm correct operation. Supplied as a genuine used OEM replacement for E38 applications.
The actuator operates the HVAC distribution flap on the E38, selecting where climate-conditioned air is delivered in the cabin — to the dash-level vents, the footwell ports, or the windscreen demisting channel in response to the selected climate setting.
When this actuator fails on the E38, common signs include the ventilation direction remaining fixed and unresponsive, an audible clicking from within the heater box area, and climate fault codes being stored in the control unit.
Part is in good used condition. Match OEM number 8391380 to your E38 before ordering. Installation by a qualified technician is advised, and coding may be required. 14-day returns accepted.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
