Description
BMW OEM air distribution flap actuator, part number 8391382, compatible with BMW E36, E38, and E46 models. This genuine used unit has been tested to verify correct function and is supplied for direct OEM replacement.
The actuator positions the distribution flap inside the HVAC housing, routing climate-conditioned air to the selected cabin zone — face-level vents, the footwell grilles, or the windscreen defroster — as directed by the climate control module.
A failing actuator typically locks airflow in one delivery position regardless of control input, produces mechanical clicking from inside the dashboard, and may store a flap motor fault code during a diagnostic scan.
Available in good used condition. Verify OEM number 8391382 and confirm model compatibility before ordering. A qualified technician should perform the installation, and coding may be required. Returns accepted within 14 days.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
