Descriere
This BMW IHKA climate control unit is an original cabin climate control panel and module for BMW E39 models, supplied under OEM number 64118390012. It is the dashboard control unit that manages the vehicle’s integrated heating and air conditioning functions.
In daily use, the IHKA unit lets the driver and passenger adjust interior temperature, blower speed, air distribution and air conditioning operation. It serves as the main interface for the HVAC system and sends commands that help regulate cabin comfort consistently in changing driving conditions.
Common signs of a faulty unit include an unresponsive control panel, failed buttons, display problems, incorrect blower behavior, uneven temperature control, or air conditioning functions that do not respond as expected. Intermittent operation, backlight issues, or loss of communication with the heating and ventilation system can also point to a failing climate control unit.
This is a used original part, removed from a vehicle and tested. Please match OEM number 64118390012 before ordering. Professional installation is recommended, and coding, programming or adaptation may be required depending on vehicle equipment and system configuration.
