Descriere
This BMW door window and mirror control module is a genuine OEM electronic component for BMW E38 7 Series and E39 5 Series vehicles. Primary OEM number 6904255. It is designed to control the power window motor and the exterior mirror adjustment motors in the door, based on the commands it receives from the door switches and from the vehicle body electronics.
Its job is to translate the switch inputs into controlled movement of the window glass and the mirror, to monitor the end positions and to communicate the door status to the central locking and body control system. A properly working module supports smooth, even window travel, precise mirror adjustment and correct operation of the door comfort functions in everyday driving.
Common signs of a faulty unit include a window that stops halfway, moves only in one direction or does not move at all, a mirror that cannot be adjusted or folded, switches that respond intermittently, or door functions that fail after the car has been parked in damp weather. When the module fails, the door may lose several comfort functions at once, and fault codes may be stored in the body control memory.
This is a used original part, removed from a vehicle and tested before sale. Match the exact OEM number 6904255 before ordering, and check that the connector type and the door side match your original unit. Professional installation is recommended, and a diagnostic scan and a check of window and mirror operation should be performed after fitting where applicable.
