OEM part number 6908465. This genuine used, tested BMW LCM III Light Control Module fits the E38 7 Series (1994–2001) and E39 5 Series (1995–2003). Units are sourced from running donor vehicles and individually tested before despatch.
The LCM III manages dipped and main beam headlights, front fog lights, parking and side marker lights, interior lighting dimming, and instrument cluster illumination. It communicates with other vehicle systems via the K-CAN bus, co-ordinating all exterior and interior lighting functions.
Typical failure symptoms include headlights failing to switch on or off correctly, main beam not activating, interior lights malfunctioning, instrument cluster dimming becoming unresponsive, and general exterior lighting irregularities.
