This Hirschmann Bluetooth antenna is used in conjunction with the BMW Bluetooth telephone system, receiving and transmitting the 2.4 GHz Bluetooth signal to enable hands-free calling and audio streaming between the vehicle system and paired devices.
Failure of the antenna may cause poor Bluetooth connection range, frequent drop-outs during calls or audio streaming, difficulty pairing new devices, or a complete inability to establish a Bluetooth link with the in-vehicle system.
