The combination switch (indicator and wiper stalk) mounts directly to the steering column and gives the driver control over direction indicators (left and right self-cancelling signals), main beam and dipped headlight selection, headlight flash, and windscreen wiper speeds and washer function. Electrical signals from the switch travel to the body control module or indicator relay to activate the corresponding exterior lighting and wiper circuits.
Turn signals not activating or failing to self-cancel, wipers stuck at wrong speed or not responding, headlight flash non-functional, intermittent indicator or wiper operation, physically broken or stiff stalk, body ECU fault codes related to the combination switch.
