Positioned in the left side of the W220 boot area, this Keyless Go antenna detects the proximity of the authorised key fob and signals the Keyless Go control module to unlock or lock the boot lid and doors when the driver approaches or moves away from the vehicle.
A faulty left trunk antenna may cause the Keyless Go system to not respond to the key from the left rear area of the vehicle, incomplete detection zone coverage, or a stored fault code in the Keyless Go or comfort control module.
