Descripción
This BMW front seat module SM is a genuine OEM electronic component for BMW F20, F30, F32 and F15 models. Primary OEM number 9371130. It is designed to manage the electric front seat functions of the vehicle, processing the signals from the seat switches and driving the adjustment motors, memory positions and related comfort features. It is built to the original BMW specification, so fit, connector layout and electronic behavior match the factory unit it replaces.
Its job is to read the seat switches, control the motors for the seat position, store and recall the memory settings and exchange status data with other control modules. A properly working front seat module supports smooth seat adjustment, reliable memory recall and correct operation of the seat system. Because the unit works together with other control modules on the vehicle, its hardware and software revision matter for correct communication.
Common signs of a faulty unit include a seat that does not move, only some adjustment directions working, memory positions that are not recalled, or a seat fault message in the instrument cluster. When the module is defective or has lost communication, the electric seat may stop working entirely, and stored fault codes can point to the control unit or its circuit. Intermittent faults are also possible, appearing only when the vehicle is warm or after the seat has been moved many times.
This is a used original part, removed from a vehicle and tested before sale. Match the exact OEM number 9371130 before ordering. Professional installation is recommended, and coding or programming to the vehicle may be required where applicable. Checking the part number printed on the label of your original unit is the safest way to confirm compatibility.
