Description
The Engine Control Module (ECM) serves as the central processing unit governing the Corsa B’s powertrain. It continuously reads input from crankshaft, coolant temperature, throttle position, and lambda sensors to regulate fuel injection timing, ignition advance, and idle speed in real time. ¶ This ECM manages the Corsa B’s sequential multi-point fuel injection, closed-loop lambda feedback, knock retard strategy, and cold-start enrichment. It also controls the fuel pump relay, electric cooling fan switching, and diagnostic trouble code logging for straightforward fault diagnosis. ¶ Common signs of ECM failure include persistent misfires, rough or unstable idle, stalling, excessive fuel consumption, power loss, or a no-start condition. Fault codes may point to sensors or actuators that are otherwise healthy — a reliable indicator that the ECM itself has failed. ¶ This is a genuine used OEM unit carrying part number 16193639 TB, removed from a written-off donor vehicle and individually tested before dispatch. Professional installation is strongly recommended, and coding or adaptation to your vehicle’s immobiliser system may be required.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
