Description
OEM reference 6913520, supplier code 601-0729-014 LEAR, fits the BMW 5 Series E39 (1995–2003). This is a genuine used Body / Comfort Control Module, tested before dispatch.
The E39 Body Module controls the vehicle’s main body convenience functions: co-ordinated central locking for all doors and the boot, one-touch electric window operation and remote key comfort-close, interior and door courtesy lighting sequences, and luggage compartment illumination. It processes infrared signals from the remote key receiver to execute the convenience entry and exit cycle. On equipped vehicles, the module also handles electric folding mirror retraction and deployment.
A failing E39 Body Module typically presents as doors that will not lock or unlock from the remote key or interior button, electric windows that lose one-touch and comfort-close operation, interior lights that fail to come on at door opening, and in some cases a single door or the boot dropping out of the central locking cycle entirely.
Confirm OEM numbers 6913520 and 601-0729-014 match your vehicle’s original unit before ordering. Professional fitting and BMW ISTA coding are required to bind the replacement module to the vehicle. Supplied as a used, tested part with a 14-day return policy.
Returns accepted only for genuine faults — faulty on arrival, not as described, or wrong part supplied — requested within 14 days, with all 3 anti-tamper stickers intact. No returns for change of mind, incorrect installation, coding/programming, or buyer compatibility errors; checking compatibility (OEM number, firmware, vehicle) is the buyer’s responsibility.
